Our Patients Rights Advocacy programs assist with representation at hearings, investigation of complaints, monitor psychiatric facilities, and educate patients, facility staff, family members and the general public regarding laws governing patients' rights.
Our Wellness and Recovery Centers offer assistance to members of the public who are struggling with issues of mental health, homelessness and displacement. Some of the services offered include groups and activities, showers, laundry, medication management, rehabilitation (skill building), case management and therapy. At the Wellness and Recovery Center, members are able to come in and have one meal per day.
We are in need of food items to continue feeding those in need.
Members are also able get clean clothing. Most clothing is used and donated by the staff. However, we are in need of various sized clothing for both men and women , along with new socks and under garments. Other items that are needed include raingear, blankets, hats and gloves.
Laundry and shower services are offered at our Wellness and Recovery Centers. Items needed are laundry detergent and bleach, as well as body towels, face towels, body soap and lotion. We also need personal hygiene items, such as toothbrushes, tooth paste, dental floss, mouthwash, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, combs and brushes.
